This Privacy Policy describes the policies and procedures of Waitbusters Dining (“we”, “our” or “us”) on the collection, use and disclosure of your information on the services, features, content or applications we offer (the “Services”). We receive information about you from various sources, including: (i) your use of the Services generally; and (ii) from third party websites and services. When you use the Services, you are expressly consenting to the collection, transfer, manipulation, storage, disclosure and other uses of your information as described in this Privacy Policy. If you do not agree with the Privacy Policy then you should immediately stop using the website and the Service.

While we attempt to facilitate access only to those Third Party Services that share our respect for your privacy, we cannot take responsibility for the content or privacy policies of those Third Party Services. We encourage you to carefully review the privacy policies of any Third Party Services you access.

Collection of Information
We collect information you provide directly to Waitbusters Dining website and services both while using the website and/or when you use our services including but not limited to: making a reservation, jumping the line, promotions, 24/7 concierge use or commentary on social media. This information can include your name, address, phone number, email address, reservation details, cancellations, dining activity, promotion usage, sharing or other details. We also automatically collect certain information passively as a result of your use of the Waitbusters Dining website and services. This information is linked to the device (e.g. computer, mobile, tablet or laptop) you use to access the website and includes your IP address, operating system, browser type, referring URLs, page views, access times and your geographical location. Furthermore, we can collect information provided to us when you connect to the Waitbusters Dining website and services from a third party application, social networking site (such as Facebook or Twitter) or other website (such as a promotion partner). All content submitted by you to the Services may be retained by us indefinitely, even if and after your access to the website and services are terminated.

Use of Your Information
We may use your information to improve our services and fulfill your requests when you utilize the following:

  2. Reviewing or commenting on our services or on restaurant services;

  4. Use of the 24/7 concierge

This communication will only be with regard to reservation notification, promotional opportunities available at restaurants or other products and Services related to Waitbusters Dining.

  2. With Restaurants that you make a dining reservation and their Affiliates, which shall include name, party size, phone number, dining preferences or other comments;
  3. With Restaurants in order to facilitate payment;

    1. comply with any applicable law, regulation or legal process, or governmental request;
    2. to enforce our user agreements and policies;
    3. to protect the security or integrity of the Site;
    4. to protect the Company, our users and the public from harm or illegal activities;
  5. If we become involved in a merger, acquisition, sale of assets, consolidation, joint venture, bankruptcy or other transaction or if the ownership of all or substantially all of our business changes;
  6. For ad purposes, we may also share certain information such as your location, browser and cookie data, unique identifier data, advertising identifier data and other data relating to your use of our website and services with our business partners to deliver advertisements ("ads") that may be of interest to you. We may allow third party ad platforms to serve advertisements on the Service.
  7. Any information that you share publicly on various social media sites including your comments, location sharing and promotion sharing with friends.

Who We Share Your Information With
We may share aggregated or anonymized information that does not directly identify you. We do not sell, rent, or share information about personally identifying characteristics (e.g., name, email address, age, gender) we collect directly from you or about you from third parties with third party ad platforms for their own marketing purposes, unless you choose in advance to have such information shared for this purpose.

Personal Accounts
When you sign up to use Waitbusters Dining services, in order to make a reservation, jump the line or make payments, you will be required to submit the following:

  1. Name
  2. Address
  3. Email
  4. Phone Number
  5. Credit Card information

This information will be used to create and manage your account. Your email address may further be used by Waitbusters Dining to send updates regarding the service, modifications to the service and updates to the Privacy Policy and Terms of Service. All payments are handled via Stripe, who will retain your credit card information

Payments Information To use certain services through Waitbusters Dining, in particular, to make payments to Restaurants, we may require you to submit your debit or credit information. In submitting this information, you agree that this can be submitted to our third party payment processor, Stripe, who will retain your information. Waitbusters Dining currently uses Stripe to collect payments from Users on behalf of Restaurants in a secure manner. Waitbusters Dining, can, however, change its payment provider at its discretion, provided any such payment provider meets an equivalent level of security.

Upon confirmation of the User’s information, Users will be connected to Waitbusters Dining to complete the sign up details by providing credit or debit card details. Stripe will verify the credit or debit card details prior to confirming the User. If the credit or debit cards cannot be verified by Stripe, Waitbusters Dining reserves the right to refuse the User access to the services.

Accessing Your Personal Information And Choices
In accordance with applicable law, you have the right to find out what Personal Data we hold about you at any time. Please submit this request in writing to info@waitbusters.com.

Security of Your Information
We seek to protect user information to ensure that it is kept private; however, we cannot guarantee the security of any user information. Unauthorized entry or use, hardware or software failure, and other factors, may compromise the security of user information at any time. We otherwise store all of our information, including your IP address information, using industry-standard techniques. We do not guarantee or warrant that such techniques will prevent unauthorized access to information about you that we store, Personal Information or otherwise. We do not store your billing information. This information is stored by Stripe, a third party payment processor. Our contract with Stripe requires that they keep your payment information confidential and secure. We assume no liability or responsibility for a hack or unauthorized access to information controlled by a third party, i.e. the restaurant, venue or Stripe.

Modifications To The Privacy Policy
We reserve the right to modify this Privacy Policy at any time. Use of information we collect now is subject to the Privacy Policy in effect at the time such information is used. It is recommended that the user check this page often to view such modification and note the date listed on the modification. If we make changes in the way we collect or use information, we will notify you by posting an announcement on the website. A user must cease using the website if they object to any changes otherwise they will be bound by any changes to the Privacy Policy.

Definitions And Legal References

  1. “Personal Information” - "Personal information" is information that we can use to identify you as an individual. Personally identifiable information includes the restaurant name, restaurant owner and/or contact person, restaurant address, email address, telephone number and any other information that is connected with you personally.
  2. “Website” – the Waitbusters Dining website.
  3. “User(s)” - the restaurant or restaurant owner using the website.
  4. “Data subject” – the legal or natural persona to whom the Personal Data refers.
  5. “Data processor” – the natural person, legal person, or any other person associated with Waitbusters Dining authorized to process the personal data in compliance with this privacy policy.
  6. “Cookies” – small pieces of data stored in the User’s device
  7. “Services” – the services provided by Waitbusters Dining including reservation widget, jump the line feature, table management and 24/7 concierge.
